NEWS FROM THE WORD DEPARTMENT |
WE'RE LOCAL AND PROFESSIONAL!
We love it when you come to our hometown. And being based in the DFW area, we're seeing many new faces come through in preparation for the coming SuperBowl XLV festivities. We are thankful for the opportunities and excited to meet all of you!
I would like to address a concern we've been hearing more and more: "Local" does not mean "inexperienced" or "only does cushy corporate shoots" or "doesn't have reliable equipment".
Let's make this perfectly clear:
TEXPROMPT RUNS WITH THE BIG DOGS!
Our operators have each been in this business at least 10 years, with experience in live broadcasts, studio shoots, corporate theatre, and multioperator events. Mitch and Bethal have been doing this for 25 years. We have built our stellar reputation on having the best, most reliable gear, operators and support in the industry. Our operators use the same computers and the same software on every job, all the time - they know them as well as they know their children, which means they are fast, efficient and really, really good. We thoroughly train them and refresh them on the camera mounts, the presidentials, the robotic units ... all of our display equipment.
We are here to assure that teleprompter is the one department you do NOT have to worry about.
So you don't need to bring your teleprompter gear or operators with you - we have it covered.
And we're here for you - please give us a call (817-410-8398) or email us today.

CAN YOU RAED TIHS?
Many of us have seen the online post about the human brain needing only the first and last letters to comprehend a word:
"According to rscheearch at Cmabrigde
Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are,
the
olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit
pclae. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid
deos not raed ervey lteter by
istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe."
Could this explain why one can read a script numerous times and still not catch all of the typos?
Here is some more research into that post by the folks at Cambridge University read it here and the intrepid investigators at www.Snopes.com read it here.

Who Is TexPrompt?
TexPrompt, fundamentally, is its operators. They love their clients, are calm under pressure, and have been doing what they do for a very long time. Mitch and Bethal Bird lovingly began TexPrompt 24 years ago, adding operators with these values along the way.
Bill Satterwhite interviewed Mitch and Bethal and has written an insightful History of TexPrompt.
